We have 3 fridges in school. Only 1 is left on during the holiday. The others are switched off during the holidays and at weekends.  All electrical devices such as computers, photo copier, sound system, printers, boiling water heaters and kettles etc) are switched off at the wall plug over night. Many of the plugs are also removed from the wall.
