Overview

Transport accounts for around one-fifth of global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Travel to school is one of the biggest contributors to a school's carbon footprint but is often one that is challenging to address as it relies on factors outside school control - such as safe routes to school, available public transportation and more.

This programme and our transport survey tool (which can be found on your dashboard) will help you to calculate your school's commute emissions and walk you through some of the ways you can start to reduce it.

The links below will take you directly to the activities that can be recorded for this programme. You will want to download the programme poster as well as there are some helpful steps in this programme that aren't listed activities on our website.
