Gas use in the Easter 2026 holidays has increased by 350% compared to Easter 2025. 

Between Saturday 28 Mar 2026 and Sunday 12 Apr 2026 you used 3,900 kWh of gas at a cost of £120. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 3,100 kWh and 560 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

This can either be electric heating, or other types of heating that requires electricity for pumps or fans. Change heating settings to save £1,900 annually.
