Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer 2024 holidays has increased by 11% compared to Summer 2023. Between Wednesday 24 Jul 2024 and Monday 2 Sep 2024 you used 1,400 kWh at a cost of £360. This is an increase of 140 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 76 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 2.9 kW in the winter to 1.1 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £860 annually.
