Gas use in the Spring half term 2026 holidays has increased by 34,000% compared to Spring half term 2025. 

Between Saturday 14 Feb 2026 and Sunday 22 Feb 2026 you used 52,000 kWh of gas at a cost of £2,100. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 52,000 kWh and 9,500 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Spring half term 2026 holidays has increased by 13% compared to Spring half term 2025. Between Saturday 14 Feb 2026 and Sunday 22 Feb 2026 you used 2,200 kWh at a cost of £460. This is an increase of 260 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 49 kg CO2.
