Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Autumn half term 2025 holidays has increased by 68% compared to Autumn half term 2024. Between Saturday 25 Oct 2025 and Sunday 2 Nov 2025 you used 8,700 kWh at a cost of £1,300. This is an increase of 3,500 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 220 kg CO2.

Find out more

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 59 kW in the winter to 44 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £660 annually.
