Make sure both your heating and hot water are switched off to prevent further waste.

If you choose to leave your heating and/or hot water running, by the end of the holidays you will have used 19,000 kWh, costing £2,300 and generating 3,500 kg CO2.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Spring half term 2025 holidays has increased by 15% compared to Spring half term 2024. Between Saturday 15 Feb 2025 and Thursday 20 Feb 2025 you used 4,200 kWh at a cost of £1,500. This is an increase of 550 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 130 kg CO2.
