Reminders

We are only showing electricity data for 1 out of your 2 electricity meters. Your second meter is not AMR, so is not capable of sharing half hourly data with Energy Sparks. We recommend that you request that this meter is upgraded to AMR through your Council Energy Team. Unfortunately your school's gas meter stopped sending data from 05/08/24 - your gas supplier should be in touch soon to arrange a site visit.

Well done, you are making progress towards achieving your target to reduce your gas usage!

Review progress

Gas use in the Xmas 2024/2025 holidays has increased by 13% compared to Xmas 2023/2024.

Between Saturday 21 Dec 2024 and Sunday 5 Jan 2025 you used 32,000 kWh of gas at a cost of £950. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 3,500 kWh and 640 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 4.9 kW in the winter to 3.2 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £510 annually.
