Gas use in the Autumn half term 2024 holidays has increased by 22,000% compared to Autumn half term 2023. 

Between Saturday 26 Oct 2024 and Sunday 3 Nov 2024 you used 7,500 kWh of gas at a cost of £400. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 7,500 kWh and 1,400 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Autumn half term 2024 holidays has increased by 30% compared to Autumn half term 2023. Between Saturday 26 Oct 2024 and Sunday 3 Nov 2024 you used 5,300 kWh at a cost of £1,200. This is an increase of 1,200 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 450 kg CO2.
