For the end of term we turned off the fridges in our KS1, EYFS and children's kitchen because these are used for the milk and fruit storage.  We moved the breakfast club marg, milk and jam to the staffroom fridge so that we only had to keep one fridge on for the half term. 
There are staff in over half term and work men so we need to keep one fridge going (and of course the fridge and freezer in the main kitchen).
