Watch out - the heating or hot water is running during the current school holidays! Up to Monday 13 Jul 2026 the school used 930 kWh of gas during this holiday, which has cost £40 and generated 170 kg CO2. Make sure both your heating and hot water are switched off to prevent further waste.

If you choose to leave your heating and/or hot water running, by the end of the holidays you will have used 7,400 kWh, costing £310 and generating 1,300 kg CO2.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer 2026 holidays has increased by 27% compared to Summer 2025. Between Wednesday 8 Jul 2026 and Tuesday 14 Jul 2026 you used 5,900 kWh at a cost of £1,200. This is an increase of 1,300 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 230 kg CO2.
