Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer half term 2025 holidays has increased by 9.5% compared to Summer half term 2024. Between Saturday 24 May 2025 and Sunday 1 Jun 2025 you used 5,400 kWh at a cost of £2,700. This is an increase of 470 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 20 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 38 kW in the winter to 20 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £21,000 annually.
