Review progress

Watch out! Up to Tuesday 18 Feb 2025 the school used 250 kWh of electricity during this holiday, which has cost £38 and generated 40 kg CO2. Make sure lights and electrical equipment are switched off to prevent further waste.

If you choose to leave electrical equipment running, by the end of the holidays you will have used 580 kWh, costing £87 and generating 92 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 4.9 kW in the winter to 1.9 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £840 annually.
