Last year you used 2,900 kWh of gas and 31,000 kWh of electricity in the Summer 2025 holidays. Turn off your heating, hot water and electrical appliances to save around £6,800 this year. 
Gas use in the Summer 2026 holidays has increased by 290% compared to Summer 2025. 

Between Tuesday 21 Jul 2026 and Tuesday 4 Aug 2026 you used 3,500 kWh of gas at a cost of £160. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 2,600 kWh and 470 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.
