Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Autumn half term 2024 holidays has increased by 51% compared to Autumn half term 2023. Between Saturday 26 Oct 2024 and Sunday 10 Nov 2024 you used 9,700 kWh at a cost of £2,000. This is an increase of 3,300 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 1,200 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 27 kW in the winter to 17 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £1,300 annually.
