Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer half term 2026 holidays has increased by 13% compared to Summer half term 2025. Between Saturday 23 May 2026 and Sunday 31 May 2026 you used 2,500 kWh at a cost of £1,200. This is an increase of 290 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 150 kg CO2.

Find out more

There is a large variation in your school's seasonal overnight electricity usage from 17 kW in the winter to 9.9 kW in the summer. This suggests heating is left running overnight during the winter. This can either be electric heating, or other types of heating that requires electricity for pumps or fans. Change heating settings to save £4,600 annually.
