Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Xmas 2024/2025 holidays has increased by 7% compared to Xmas 2023/2024. Between Saturday 21 Dec 2024 and Sunday 5 Jan 2025 you used 3,200 kWh at a cost of £740. This is an increase of 210 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 56 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 23 kW in the winter to 6.7 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £3,700 annually.
