Gas use in the Summer half term 2025 holidays has increased by 270% compared to Summer half term 2024. 

Between Saturday 24 May 2025 and Sunday 1 Jun 2025 you used 940 kWh of gas at a cost of £50. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 690 kWh and 130 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer half term 2025 holidays has increased by 9.6% compared to Summer half term 2024. Between Saturday 24 May 2025 and Sunday 1 Jun 2025 you used 1,600 kWh at a cost of £360. This is an increase of 140 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 5.6 kg CO2.
