Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer 2026 holidays has increased by 12% compared to Summer 2025. Between Tuesday 28 Jul 2026 and Friday 14 Aug 2026 you used 11,000 kWh at a cost of £1,700. This is an increase of 1,200 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 150 kg CO2.

Watch out! Up to the school used 11,000 kWh of electricity during this holiday, which has cost £1,700 and generated 1,500 kg CO2. Make sure lights and electrical equipment are switched off to prevent further waste.

If you choose to leave electrical equipment running, by the end of the holidays you will have used 21,000 kWh, costing £3,200 and generating 2,800 kg CO2.
