Well done, you are making progress towards achieving your target to reduce your electricity usage!

Review progress

Watch out! Up to Saturday 14 Feb 2026 the school used 760 kWh of electricity during this holiday, which has cost £170 and generated 150 kg CO2. Make sure lights and electrical equipment are switched off to prevent further waste.

If you choose to leave electrical equipment running, by the end of the holidays you will have used 6,900 kWh, costing £1,500 and generating 1,300 kg CO2.

Find out more

There is a large variation in your school's seasonal overnight electricity usage from 35 kW in the winter to 27 kW in the summer. This suggests heating is left running overnight during the winter. This can either be electric heating, or other types of heating that requires electricity for pumps or fans. Change heating settings to save £2,100 annually.
