Gas use in the Summer half term 2026 holidays has increased by 71% compared to Summer half term 2025. 

Between Saturday 23 May 2026 and Monday 1 Jun 2026 you used 24,000 kWh of gas at a cost of £1,100. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 9,800 kWh and 1,800 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Summer half term 2026 holidays has increased by 50% compared to Summer half term 2025. Between Saturday 23 May 2026 and Monday 1 Jun 2026 you used 16,000 kWh at a cost of £2,900. This is an increase of 5,300 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 1,200 kg CO2.
