Last year you used 1,300 kWh of gas and 1,000 kWh of electricity in the Summer half term 2025 holidays. Turn off your heating, hot water and electrical appliances to save around £590 this year.

Gas use in the Easter 2026 holidays has increased by 31% compared to Easter 2025.

Between Saturday 28 Mar 2026 and Sunday 12 Apr 2026 you used 9,500 kWh of gas at a cost of £1,400. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 2,200 kWh and 410 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.
