Well done, you are making progress towards achieving your target to reduce your electricity usage!

Review progress

Watch out! Up to Friday 10 Apr 2026 the school used 500 kWh of electricity during this holiday, which has cost £76 and generated 38 kg CO2. Make sure lights and electrical equipment are switched off to prevent further waste.

If you choose to leave electrical equipment running, by the end of the holidays you will have used 1,000 kWh, costing £160 and generating 77 kg CO2.

Find out more

There is a large variation in your school's seasonal overnight electricity usage from 4 kW in the winter to 2.5 kW in the summer. This suggests heating is left running overnight during the winter. This can either be electric heating, or other types of heating that requires electricity for pumps or fans. Change heating settings to save £29 annually.
