Gas use in the Autumn half term 2025 holidays has increased by 1,400% compared to Autumn half term 2024. 

Between Saturday 25 Oct 2025 and Sunday 2 Nov 2025 you used 1,900 kWh of gas at a cost of £100. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 1,700 kWh and 320 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Autumn half term 2025 holidays has increased by 67% compared to Autumn half term 2024. Between Saturday 25 Oct 2025 and Sunday 2 Nov 2025 you used 890 kWh at a cost of £280. This is an increase of 360 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 25 kg CO2.
